Nova Games packed the game in the 3rd quarter 2015. While packing Ember Guards, Nova Games team made an unique promo site, atmospheric video trailer, localized the game to 7 main languages, worked closely with developers on game design and provided QA services. Also, NG team made a promo pack for the game, did ASO, and helped with SDK integration.
In the Fall of 2015, Nova Games launched Ember Guards in Russia and Germany, resulting in 60k installs in just 2 weeks. We used gaming websites, video blogs, incent and non-incent ad networks along with SMM activities to push the game to the Top of the App Store.
The main goals of soft-launch were: checking monetization mechanics, measuring user retention, collecting users' feedback, and preparing the game for a worldwide launch.
